Oracle v. Google and the rise of the API© Dead
An entertaining multimedia presentation by Peter S. Menell (UC Berkeley Law, Koret Professor of Law and Co-Director, Berkeley Center for Law & Technology) concerning the long-running IP litigation between Oracle and Google pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. At issue in Oracle v. Google is whether Oracle can claim a copyright on Java APIs (software) and, if so, whether Google infringes these copyrights. Chris Sprigman provided commentary.
