Cade Mallett ‘24 is a first-year student at NYU School of Law. Originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico, Cade received a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2020 from UCLA. After graduating, he worked on data-driven population health projects at a healthcare software company in Wisconsin, captained the Expunge Assist team of the Hack for Los Angeles civic volunteer group, and became a registered patent practitioner. Cade is currently a Desmarais Scholar and John Sexton Scholar of Law. While at NYU he hopes to pursue interests in open source technology, intellectual property, and digital infrastructure.
